Oodles is not intended for any children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone who is under 13 years of age. If we become aware that any individual under the age of 13 has provided us with information, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. If you are informed that your child has provided us with information without your consent, please contact us at email@example.com.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Your registration information. To use Oodles, you will need to provide your e-mail address or other social networking account information. You may also register using our registration form, where you will be required to provide us with your contact information, and certain other personal information, namely, your name, birth month and birth year. If you choose to register, you agree to (a) supply the information requested in the registration process, (b) ensure that all information you supply to us is accurate, and (c) update your personal information. You may choose not to provide us with any registration information. In such an event, you can still access and use some portions of Oodles; however, you will not be able to access and use portions of Oodles that require your registration information.
Your usage of Oodles. We automatically track certain information about you based upon your use of Oodles. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis. We may also collect information that identifies you as an individual.
Your correspondence. If you send us e-mails, letters or other personal correspondence, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
OUR USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Internal purposes. We use your information to conduct internal research and analysis on our users’ demographics, interests and behaviors to better understand and serve our users, and work with our partners. We may also prepare and keep statistical records and other data about you and other users of Oodles. We may hire third parties to help us collect and analyze such data, and we may share such statistical data with third parties. Again, such statistical data will not specifically identify you or any other user. We use this information to help us make Oodles more useful to users and work with our partners – to learn about the number of visitors to Oodles, what part of Oodles they are interested in, how long they use Oodles and the types of technology our visitors use.
Promotional use. We may use your information to send you advertisements, promotions, and notices in relation to our marketing and promotional efforts, and to improve our content and partner related services. We may further use your information to deliver to you third-party advertisements and promotions, our new services and promotions, and other information and notices.
Administrative notices, etc. We may use your e-mail address and any other social networking service you’ve linked to Oodles, as well as your phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of Oodles.
Billing and support. If you open a credit account with Oodles, we may use your address and billing information to bill you and provide associated support.
OUR DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
We use practices that are consistent with standards in our industry to protect your privacy. We cannot, however, promise that any of your information will remain private. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications on Oodles. We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. The following describes some of the ways, but not all, that your personally identifiable information may be disclosed.
Law enforcement. We reserve the right at all times to disclose any information about you as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation legal process or governmental request. We reserve the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court orders requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any content, or publishing or otherwise making available any materials on Oodles. BY USING OODLES YOU WAIVE ALL RIGHTS AND AGREE TO HOLD US HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY US DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ANY INVESTIGATIONS AND/OR FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF ANY INVESTIGATION BY EITHER US OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES.
Advertisers. We may disclose aggregate information about our users to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes. However, we do not disclose any personally identifying information to any of these entities.
Third party suppliers. We frequently use third party suppliers to assist us in providing the content available on Oodles. You may be asked or required to disclose your personal information to the third party supplier, in the event of a promotional activity or other marketing activity that requires such information. It is your responsibility to only provide the information that you feel comfortable with, and at your own risk of the information being used elsewhere.
Use limited to Oodles-related communications. Because of the nature of the services offered on Oodles, Oodles allows you to access other users’ contact information. You may use such information only for Oodles related communications. You should not use Oodles in any manner for any unsolicited commercial purpose or endeavor, including the offering for sale of any products or services, or otherwise engage in any unsolicited commercial activity on Oodles for any purpose, including, but not limited to, conducting raffles or contests, displaying sponsorship banners, soliciting goods or services, soliciting funds, advertisers or sponsors. In all cases, you must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them. In addition, under no circumstance can you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure by you to such other user. Note that law enforcement personnel, our commercial partners and other rights holders are given different rights with respect to information they access.
Security. We use reasonable measures to maintain the security of your information; however, no company, organization, online community, or mobile application, including Oodles, can fully eliminate security risks associated with your personal information. We will have no liability to you or to any third-party arising out of any such loss, misuse, destruction or alternation.
DISCLOSURES YOU MAKE TO THIRD PARTIES
